CONTRAST BETWEEN SPORTS AND INFLATION
With every facet of your life costing more and more and trying to balance everything like a teeter totter, the one area that is often overlooked is the inflation cost of sports. Working in a industry that is promoting sports for the bettermint of ones health and well-being and being an avid soccer player myself even if it is just house league adult soccer, my mind often shifts to the fact that some people can't afford to play as a result of the rising impact on inflation in sports and it pains me to see this.
Yes, we have funding programs for kids that want to participate in sports but we have to make concrete solutions not temporary fixes and we have to come up with solutions fast. The solution on inflation the cost of a program going up is not clear to navigate and just becasue the cost of something gets in the way of what a child might love to do everyday, doesn't make it right that they cannot play the sport they love. Yes, life is cruel and society is pressing, but solutions to the rise of sports are out there and people just need to be more willing to look in those hard nose areas and work on getting things moved along rather than staying idle.
The reality is, inflation and sports go hand in hand, the facility in which a organization rents from could go up 10 or 20% year over year, which in turn, forces sport organizations to hike/spike up registration costs for the players of those sports.
The cost of a indoor sport complex for example can be astonishing and to run your own sports league is very big money but it can be done, trying to maneuver around the obstacle of inflation is a never ending battle and might be impossible to do.
When looking at enrolling into sports, look at what they are offering to you as the customer rather than the be all and end all of the cost of the program itself. Ask yourself, how does this program benefit my health, my mind, my social skills, my overall sport capabilities and how will it coninue my path for sucess for the love of the game.
If the pros outweight the cons, then I say go for it and sign up becasue you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
